Academy for Early Learners exists to provide the highest quality of child care utilising, professional, highly trained teachers and state of the art architecturally designed facilities, which reflect our commitment to caring for children. We believe that children will achieve their highest potential in a nurturing and caring environment.

Our teachers are trained to respect the dignity and individuality of each child, remembering at all times the trust which parents have placed in our school. We will critically look at ourselves as educators. Through critical reflection and evaluation, we justify, challenge and change our position in a learning relationship, through practice and principles of the EYLF.

Through a combination of intentional (teacher directed) and play based learning experiences (Reggio Emilia) children will learn how to constructively interact with their peers and adults. Children will be given many opportunities through play to confidently explore and construct ideas about the world around them encouraging lifelong learning.

We believe each child is a unique individual in their own right and that their special abilities, interests and backgrounds are a very important contribution to the community. We aim to impart-life-skills consistent with each child’s development and to extend their range of personal skills.

Our program is child-centred based upon the principles outlined in the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)- ‘Belonging, Being & Becoming’

We believe, families are the most important influence in a child’s life, and are the primary source of information about their children. Therefore, we encourage parents to be actively involved in the school, contribute ideas, and take an interest in their child’s development and growth. Together we can provide a foundation for every individual child to reach their utmost potential.
